Why swaddling is important?

Swaddling is one of the most important things you can do for your new baby. It’s going to help your little ray of sunshine sleep better and longer, it can prevent startle reflex and can help prevent SIDS (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome). Swaddling will also help your baby stay warm and toasty for the first few days of life until their internal thermostat kicks in. While multiple studies have shown the importance of swaddling babies, doing it properly can be a challenge. Wonderful!

I was hesitant to spend this amount of money on a swaddle but I’m so glad I did. I tried other brands and my son hated being swaddled with his arms down. This pod has been a nightly staple in our house! I just wish I could afford to get him the next size. His legs are getting too long for the small. :(
My only complaints would be the zipper on the bottom for “easy diaper changes” - it only half way unzips so if you have a sleeper onsie on your baby it makes it hard to change diapers without taking the swaddle pod off. Which in turns disrupts his sleep. I feel like it would be much better if it unzipped more to give better access.
